Physical Description | Boney does not quite live up to his name. Between the “working man” musculature of manual labor and the slight paunch from his habitual drinking, Boniface isn’t husky but still far from lanky. His hair is usually messy and unkempt, though not wildly so. His posh sense of style is just strong enough to keep him from looking homeless. | |

Personality & Traits
General Overview | Boney is a professional layabout who seldom does more work than necessary. Often found with a drink in hand or within arm’s length, he is not one to take anything too seriously. He’s drifted from one job to another for his entire adult life, never having the same employer for more than a few weeks. His curiosity leads him to take unnecessary risks, which makes him a born gambler. |

Personal History | Born on Albion in squalid poverty, Boniface and his twin brother Cassian barely survived childbirth -- a feat their mother did not. Their father, a single parent who worked double shifts just to make ends meet, did little for Boney than teach him to search for happiness at the bottom of a bourbon bottle. Never one for education, Boney took to the wrong crowd early in life where he learned to pilfer, steal, and rig anything short of a secured Cortex terminal. Boney never had much money, which means he has never lawfully purchased a vehicle. As a teenager, he quickly learned how to steal what motorized conveyances were to be had, whether bikes, Mules, or hovercars, and chop them for parts that were harder for the Law to trace. That was what his twin brother and first partner in crime was for -- to be the lookout, getaway driver, and pawnbroker. When the teenage Grimshaw Brothers finally ran afoul of the police, both were bound by law. The Dover Magistrate gave them deferred sentencing by allowing them to enter the Order of the Shepherds’ Glastening Abbey in the rural countryside. While his brother found religion, Boney found a Get Out of Jail Free card and left the abbey at the first opportunity. He has devoted himself to a life of debauchery ever since, defying the best wishes and efforts of his twin brother. |
